Trivia Fact of the day: The largest sand castle in the world measured 54 feet high.

The tallest sandcastle measures 16.68 m (54 ft 9 in), achieved by schauinsland-reisen gmbh (Germany) in Duisburg, Germany, on 1 September 2017.

This record breaking sandcastle was built in Landschaftspark, a disused coal and steel plant in Duisburg-Nord. It took 168 trucks over a week to deliver the sand!
